Dining at The Beach House on P&O Cruises
The Beach House is located beside the buffet and serves South American, Caribbean, and US inspired food on ships Iona, Arvia, Britannia, Azura, Aurora and Ventura.
HOW TO BOOK THE BEACH HOUSE
If you book before you cruise on the P&O website you may find discounts available.
Restaurants are available to book at midnight TWO WEEKS before you are due to sail! Some of the options like The Olive Grove or Ice Cream Afternoon Tea are not able to be pre-booked, and must be done once you board the ship.
We pre-booked our meal before sailing and paid around £9 – £10 per person.

If you book once on board the ship, either by going to the restaurant in person, or booking through the My Holiday Webpage App, the price per person will be a little more expensive.

There are items on the menu, like the steaks, that are an extra charge. These arrived on a hot rock for us to cook ourselves and were really delicious.

Unfortunately we found the service was not quite as smooth as we expected, facing long waits for drinks as there were not enough staff to help.

If you’re looking for a casual evening meal, The Beach House has the same vibe and similar layout to the Buffet onboard the ship (it’s next door!)

We’d recommend eating at The Beach House if you wanted some variety on a longer cruise BUT in comparison to other paid restaurants, and especially on a shorter cruise, we wouldn’t prioritise this over other options.
A few of our favourite places to eat are The Olive Grove, Sindhu and The Keel and Cow.
