Afternoon Tea at SEA! The Epicurean

We LOVE scones, sandwiches and little cakes so really wanted to see what the Afternoon Tea was like onboard Iona!

Afternoon Tea is served in the Epicurean Restaurant and priced at £17 Per Person.

This is an additional charge and is not included in your cruise.

It can only be booked once on board the ship through the My Holiday Webpage App OR at The Epicurean if you prefer to book in person.

As this is a very popular experience, and one we think is worth the extra cost.

We would recommend booking during your first day on board, as early as you can, due to the limited spaces available.

We had afternoon tea on Day 4 of our cruise which was a sea day.

On arrival we were given the menu and the team took the time to explain everything to us before we tucked in.

Savoury options included a tart, roll and eclair with fillings.

There were alternatives available for those who had special dietary requirements.

The scones were freshly baked and came with cream and jam which the team were happy to refill when asked.

The pastries were delicious and sweet.

The cake pop filled with cheesecake was a great addition.

We loved the Verrine, which was really refreshing and cut through the sweetness of the pastries we’d had before.

Tea and Coffee were offered throughout the service.

A glass of bubbly was available at an additional charge if you wanted something extra.

There were sea views from every table and with good food, good company and great service it was a lovely way to spend an afternoon.
